However, due to the excessive accumulation of orders in the early stage, the market spot supply is still in short supply. It is expected that in the coming week, due to the rising price of raw material alumina, the price of white fused alumina will continue to operate smoothly.
This week, the operation of brown fused alumina enterprises in Henan and Shanxi areas are relatively stable. Although the environmental inspection team still checked frequently, the environmental protection measures of enterprises have been basically qualified, so the operating rate of enterprises has not been greatly affected. At the same time, due to the high price of raw material bauxite and the increasing difficulty in procurement, the production enthusiasm of brown fused alumina smelting enterprises has been affected, and some enterprises have begun to actively reduce production.
In addition, some open-pit bauxites in Guizhou area were suspended from production before the May 1 holiday. Although the mine was not affected, the overall supply of local bauxite ore remained tight and the price also increased slightly.
Overall, due to the relatively low downstream demand in the industry, China's brown corundum market has been slightly slow. Individual companies are returning funds, and they can accept up to UDS 7.42 /ton of counter-offer this week, but this does not represent the mainstream trend of market prices. The price of brown fused alumina is still firm.
3. Black Silicon Carbide
This week, the price of black silicon carbide original block declined slightly, and the price of granular sand and fine powder remained stable. In addition, it is reported that some production stoppages in Gansu and Inner Mongolia are currently planning to resume production. It is expected that the supply of black silicon carbide market will usher in a new round of growth around June.
