China Abrasive Materials Weekly Price (13th-19th Apr): Abrasive Materials Price Has Dropped
This week, due to the continuous decline in the price of raw material alumina, the price of white fused alumina in China fell again, with a decline of about 100-200 RMB/ ton.
This week, the production of brown fused alumina in Henan Province has been shut down on a large scale, and short-term resumption of production is not expected. With the addition of strong production cost factors, the price of brown fused alumina in China may remain stable.
3. Black Silicon Carbide
Since the coronavirus outbreak globally, foreign orders for black silicon carbide have decreased. To cope with the situation, some companies plan to lower the price of black silicon carbide abrasives by around 100-200 RMB/ ton.
4. Green Silicon Carbide
This week, due to weak market demand, some green silicon carbide manufacturers in China lowered the prices by about 100-200 RMB/ ton. However, it is expected that in the next week, due to the costs factor, with manufacturers insist on the prices, the price of green silicon carbide abrasives in China may be stable and may only decrease slightly.
