As the severely polluted weather lasted a long time, brown fused alumina and white fused alumina smelting and processing enterprises in Henan Province are hopeless to resume production in 2019.
It is expected that in the coming week, due to the comprehensive influence of environmental protection high-pressure policies and the stability of raw material alumina prices, China's white fused alumina market prices will remain stable.
This week, due to the environmental protection control in Henan, Shanxi and other provinces, brown fused alumina production enterprises stopped production on a large scale, and the spot supply in the market was tight.
Some companies report: “Under the current environmental protection situation, it is difficult to guarantee the number of production days before the Spring Festival. Therefore, we choose to accept orders carefully and suspend large orders. The company current policy focuses on consuming inventory, and selling the goods in the warehouse can be sold.”
It is expected that the price of brown fused alumina will continue to run smoothly in the coming week.

In order to stimulate downstream market demand, some companies may reduce product prices. 4. Green Silicon Carbide
This week, Xinjiang Province's green silicon carbide manufacturers have decided to stop production around January 9, 2020, and plan to resume production around February 15. During the shutdown, the company will also have sufficient inventory for holiday delivery. It is expected that the price of China's green silicon carbide market will remain weak and stable in the coming week.
