As the small margin and high risk, the current production enthusiasm of enterprises is generally not high, and most of them are waiting to see the follow-up trend of the market. It is expected that in the coming week, white fused alumina prices may continue to be weak and stable.
This week, due to weak downstream market demand, some brown fused alumina manufacturers slightly lowered their product prices to stimulate sales. Despite the decrease in downstream demand, brown fused alumina manufacturers have also reduced their output due to factors such as staggered production regulation and heavy pollution weather control. It is expected that in the coming week, brown fused alumina prices may continue to operate weakly and steadily.
In November, due to the obvious shortage of coke oven gas supply, as well as the high prices of natural gas and coal, which caused a large-scale shutdown of bauxite kilns in Shanxi. In addition, Shanxi’s Xiaoyi Xiangwang Mine and Ke Er Mine have successively produced bauxite ore in November, but the quality of the ore at this stage is not good, and it is still unable to supplement the shortage of high-grade raw ore and mature bauxite demand on the market. High-grade raw ore and mature bauxite are becoming more and more difficult to find, and product prices may rise further. Downstream companies should prepare in advance, and the bauxite market in December may be more difficult.
This week, despite the sluggish downstream demand, black silicon carbide manufacturers are unwilling to further lower their prices due to strong production costs and plan to suspend production in the near future. It is expected that in the coming week, under the dual support of high costs and production suspension news, the price of black silicon carbide may remain stable.
