China Abrasive Materials Weekly Price (2nd-8th Mar): Market Is Gradually Picking Up
This week, as the price of raw material alumina is still rising, the price of white fused alumina in China has continued to rise. According to the analysis of the current rise of alumina prices, it is expected that the price of white fused alumina will continue to rise by 50 RMB/ ton in the coming week.
This week, most of the brown fused alumina production enterprises in China officially resumed production. Although the downstream abrasive enterprises are generally negotiating for a lower price, brown fused alumina enterprises are still focusing on stable prices. It is expected that in the coming week, the price of brown fused alumina will continue to run smoothly due to cost support.
3. Black Silicon Carbide
This week, although the price of raw material anthracite has risen, black silicon carbide raw block producers have no intention to increase the selling price, the original block price in the market has remained stable, and black silicon carbide abrasive prices have also remained unchanged.
4. Green Silicon Carbide
This week, although the price of raw material petroleum coke has risen, since the green silicon carbide smelting enterprises have not yet officially resumed production under government control, it has not directly affected the market price of green silicon carbide raw blocks. Based on the original block production of inventory from the previous year, the price of green silicon carbide abrasives has remained stable.
