This week, many areas in Henan Province once again issued heavy-duty weather warnings. Local white fused smelting enterprises have restricted production or stopped production, and the production of white fused alumina has remained at a low level. In addition, due to the decrease in orders in the downstream abrasive industry, the market of white fused alumina was relatively deserted. As a result, the price of white fused alumina continued to run weakly, and some enterprises lowered the price by 50 yuan/ton.
This week, due to the end of the year, downstream abrasives companies began to stock a small amount of goods, but unlike previous years, due to environmental pressures and the decline in terminal demand, the abrasives enterprises reduced the purchase of brown fused alumina abrasives, and the market transactions were relatively deserted. The price of brown fused alumina is weak and steady.
3. Black Silicon Carbide
This week, China's black silicon carbide market price has slightly decreased. As the end of the year is approaching, some production companies need to reduce inventory and withdraw funds, so the price will be reduced slightly. It is expected that the price of anthracite will be firm in the coming week, the pressure on the inventory of production enterprises will be small, and the price of black silicon carbide abrasives will remain stable.
4. Green Silicon Carbide
This week, China's green silicon carbide market is weak and stable. In order to quickly withdraw funds, the green silicon carbide enterprises have slightly lowered the market prices of green silicon carbide raw blocks, granular sand and fine powder. However, it is worth noting that the production enterprises in Xinjiang are expected to stop production before mid-January, so the current price cuts may not be sustainable.
